Our Lodge in Sitka, Alaska employs 35-50 people for each season May thru mid-September. Qualifications:
-1 - 2 years in a customer service or customer communication type job
-Strong communication both with customers and co-workers
-Detailed oriented
-Ability to learn
-Valid Driver’s License & legal to work in U.S.
-Relocate to Sitka, Alaska for season; May 15 thru September 15
-Fluency in both verbal and written English
Responsibilities:
-Communicate and Interact with Lodge guests on a daily basis.
-Cleaning and other Housekeeping tasks in lodge general areas and bedrooms
-All aspects of serving meals to 65+ Lodge customers in our private dining room
-Washing, drying and folding Lodge laundry.
-Driving customers to & from the docks and our private dining room
-Hours; 7-9 hour daily shifts, 40 to 50+ hours per week, O.T. + seasonal bonus + tips + free staff housing & meals.
Job Description:
Are you interested in a unique opportunity working seasonally at a fishing lodge in Alaska? Kingfisher Charters seeks full-time Housekeeping/Serving staff to work mid-May thru mid-September, 2023.
Job responsibilities include working in a modern, newly renovated Lodge buildings housekeeping and cleaning all areas including overseeing basic laundry. Also providing hospitality services such as serving breakfast or dinner in our 65 seat dining room and transporting our customers to and from the dining room to the fishing dock. Shifts can either be morning thru midday or midday thru evening.

The job requires an employee to be in Sitka, Alaska from mid-May through the mid-September. We offer competitive pay along with overtime, tips, and end-of-season bonus (It's feasible to average $4,000 to $5,000 per month = $16,000+ for the season). Lastly, we offer tenured employees a company funded IRA plan and returning bonus for continued employment.
